Million People March: A Walk Towards the Straight Path

The Million People March held in Luneta Park last August 26, 2013 has made history. The march called for the abolition of the controversial Priority Development Assistance Fund  (PDAF). The protest was initiated by concerned citizens who used social media to spread the news and encourage people to join. Many consider this as the very first protest that was successfully organized through different social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.

Thousands have joined the said march to express their strong objection against corruption. People from different walks of life had come together as one for the greater good of the country. They represented those who are tired of being abused by ones who should be protecting them. Each had their own way of showing that they are against the PDAF scam.

The fight against corruption does not stop here. This is only the beginning of a battle that every Filipino must take part of.
